Before 2022 comes to an end, we’d like to quickly share our 2021 annual report with you, highlighting all the great things we were able to achieve thanks to your support. At the beginning of August, flash floods occurred in the Mbale region in eastern Uganda. After heavy rainfall, two rivers overflowed their banks. The resulting mudslides caused extensive damage. Hundreds of residents were left homeless, and more than 20 people lost their lives.

At the end of last year, you donated generously, and among other things, sewing machines for the women in the village were financed. The women had asked for these sewing machines so they could receive training and build a path toward self-employment. We’re very happy to be able to support them in this!

Charly is flying again! Do you remember when Charly met Favour, Amon, and the other children in Uganda? On his journey to Africa, Charly had lost his flock and, exhausted, landed on the roof of a thatched hut. Amon, like the other primary school children, has successfully passed his Primary School exams and would like to thank you for your support! He will now attend secondary school (Senior 1 starting in January) as soon as the school closures are lifted.
