Africa, what’s it like there? We’re visiting a school class

September 29, 2016 Help for a Smile

On a sunny June morning in Class 1b at Forsmannstraße Primary School in Hamburg: Anne, Carla’s mom, and Ines talk about the lives of children in Africa, explain why we help, read African stories, and answer the children’s many, many questions. The kids also create wonderful drawings for the children we support in Uganda—these will be taken along on the Uganda trip!

Our thanks go to Ms. Gundlach, the teacher. We truly enjoyed the morning with the class and the attentive, curious children!

A wonderful book by UNICEF that helps bring Africa and life there a little closer to children.

And while Ines and Anne read aloud, the schoolchildren create amazing drawings for the children we support in Uganda. The drawings will be taken along in the travel luggage!!

@Everyone: We’re also happy to give presentations about Uganda elsewhere. Just get in touch with us—we’d love to do it! With a big smile
