Steffi & Christian are traveling to Uganda!!

Steffi and Christian flew to Entebbe on August 21 to spend a week with “our” children. Their luggage contained not only many toys, clothing for the children, two donated laptops, and small and large surprises for our young and old friends in Uganda, but also a “Kids’ Olympiad” specifically created and prepared by Steffi. We have already heard reports of great enthusiasm from everyone involved and will soon be able to share a more detailed report and many, many photos.

Here is a small selection of the first images that reached us (more can already be found on Facebook), combined with a huge thank you to Steffi and Christian for such incredible volunteer commitment (the flight was also paid for out of their own pockets). A big thank you as well to all the donors, letter writers, and little artists who helped prepare for this trip.
