Newsletter I in 2015 from ‘Help for a smile e.V.’

Dear friends, supporters, and members of “Help for a Smile,”

to begin, in the words of Irene from Uganda:

“Dear friends,

Thank you for loving us this much. We are so blessed to have you among the people living today. You have become parents to 2 more children who had no one to attend to such a need; their education. Thank you for the Intervention. …
Thank you for all the effort you have put in to see that the children get fees and requirements to continue with their education. We are so grateful and pray that you all succeed in whatever you lay your hands on….”

Thanks to your great and reliable support through donations and pledged membership fees, we have been able to provide financial support for two more children in Uganda since the beginning of this year.

In total, thanks to your help, seven children (Amon, Fiona, Gift, Luke, Paddy, Ian, and Favor) are now able to attend school and experience a caring and happy life with Irene in Mukono, Uganda, outside of school hours.

We shared the good news with Irene, and she informed us that Favor and Ian are now living with her and can be sent to school thanks to our support.

We are incredibly happy about this, and we would love to share this joy with you!

Our special thanks go to Sandra Kieker and her late husband André, in whose memory the funeral guests collected the incredible sum of €3,500. We will use this donation for “our” children just as Sandra and André would have intended!
