Christmas gifts for our protégés in Uganda

Just a few weeks ago, we were busy collecting and wrapping gifts for the children (see the picture above) and—believe it or not!—after only three weeks, the Christmas package arrived in Kampala, Mukono, filled with many beautiful and practical gifts and items for 15 children and 4 adults. In the bottom picture, you can see little Amon, who—as helpful as ever and surely excitedly happy—is helping with the carrying.

The package arrived just in time for the holidays!! How wonderful! But the children will still have to be patient for a few more days. :)
