Christmas 2014 in Uganda – Thank you to all donors!

We received a big thank you and great photos from Irene. Thanks to your amazing support, Christmas 2014 was a very special one for our children! Joining the celebration were seven additional children Irene is now caring for, as well as four children from the orphanage at the Early Learning School in Entebbe.

The Christmas festivities were held in Mbale, in a small town near the Kenyan border. Irene’s mother lives there, and a house for the children is currently being built, meaning there is plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for everyone. The organizational and logistical efforts of Irene and Dickson are truly impressive!

Thanks to the donations, there was good food and gifts for Christmas, and Irene even organized a day at a playground and the swimming pool. In the photos and the attached PDF, you can see the joy we have all brought to our protégés together.
