Construction of sanitary facilities and solar power systems

A solar power system has been installed at the community center! For several months before, there had been no electricity there. Now there is finally reliable, sustainable power and lighting in the community building.

In addition to the solar system, new sanitary facilities have also been installed. Previously, the toilet was just a simple latrine. Now, a modern toilet is finally available for the young people living there and for visitors. Are you familiar with this type of toilet? They are called squat toilets and have several advantages compared to our seated toilets. There are health and hygiene benefits, but of course also some disadvantages—for example, they are less accessible.
