Newsletter III in 2016 from ‘Help for a smile e.V.’ (including annual report)

Dear members and friends of Help for a Smile,

We have already reached the halfway point of 2017 and, with 84 members—10 of whom are new—we are proud of the great development of our association. We thank you for your incredible support and warmly welcome all new members. We are very happy that you are part of it!

Here are some further updates:

Trip and internship in Uganda
The children of Help for a Smile are full of excitement as they look forward to a visit from Germany. Paulina will travel to Uganda at the end of August for one month and spend time with our children. She has just finished her Abitur and would now like to gain experience in Uganda. She is covering all travel costs herself. We are thrilled that she is dedicating her time to our children and will surely share many wonderful experiences with them. Photos will follow :)

Old cameras and smartphones
Paulina will be running a photography project with the children on site. For this, we are still looking for old cameras from you or your acquaintances. Please get in touch by August 20 at the latest if you would like to donate any.

New Help for a Smile flyer
Attached you will find the new flyer of our association. Please feel free to share it. Printed copies are also available—just let us know and we will send them to you.

School reports and recent holidays
The children once again achieved good results in their recent school term, which makes us very happy! During the holidays, they were able to enjoy cheerful and exciting outings together. You can find a few photos attached to share in their joy :)
