With your donation to Help for a Smile e.V., you are providing direct and sustainable support for children and young people. Becoming a member is a particularly effective way to provide long-term help.

However, every single donation—whether one-time or recurring—makes a difference.

96% of all donations go directly to the children and youth. Our administrative overhead is kept very low; only 4% is used for postage, bank, and transfer fees.

Ways to Support Us:

Membership: We have intentionally kept the membership fee low at a minimum of €5 per year so that Help for a Smile e.V. can build a large member base and provide continuous, long-term support. It is important to us to accompany these children on their journey into the future. Of course, anyone is welcome to donate higher amounts or contribute outside of regular fees.

With your donation, children receive sufficient food, necessary medical examinations and treatments, and the opportunity to attend school regularly and visit their parents—including those in prison. 

With few resources, we can achieve a great deal and put a smile on these children’s faces.

Tax Info: Donations are tax-deductible. For annual donation totals of at least €20, you will automatically receive a donation receipt at the beginning of the following year. If you require an individual receipt sooner, please feel free to request one. Companies receive an individual receipt immediately after the donation is processed. For donations made via betterplace, you will receive your tax certificate directly from them.
